Our local communitySt. Francis' takes an active part in the St. Louis community. While we are not as large as some churches, our small size let's us respond more quickly to needs of the community. We encourage everyone in our church, whether young or old, to participate in some way. Some of our many activities are: - Feeding the homeless on some Sunday afternoons at Trinity Episcopal Church in the central west end.
- Collecting food for the Eureka Food Pantry
- Growing food in our own garden for the Eureka Food Pantry
- Making Christmas cards and packing gift boxes for sailors on river barges at Christmas
- Providing backpacks filled with school supplies to refugees new to St. Louis
- Adopt-a-highway along Highway 109 north of Eureka High School.
- and many more.
St. Francis' is also very aware of our presence in the global community. Activities here include: - Raising funds for Heifer International through our annual Warm up the Winter dinner.
- Purchasing Fair Exchange Coffee so that farmers in developing countries can earn a decent living.
- Sending prayer beads to our troops overseas.
- and many more.
